These ores ca n be directly used in the production of iron and steel. All other ores need benefaction and certain processing before they are used in t he production of iron and steel. Low grade iron ores cannot be used as such for the production of iron and SST eel and need to be upgraded to reduce its gangue content and increase its Fee content. The process adopted to upgrade the Fee content of air n ore is known as iron ore benefaction (108). However, Iron ores from different sources have their own peculiar mineralogy cal characteristics and require the specific benefaction and teleological treatment to get the best product out of it.Also for effective Ben affectation treatment, effective crushing, grinding, and screening of the ore is necessary for which suitable crushing, grinding, and SC reining technologies are to be employed. The choice of the benefaction treatment depends on the nature of the gangue present and its association with the ore structure. Several methods/technique s such as washing, jigging, magnetic separation, gravity separation, and flotation n etc. Are used to enhance the Fee content of the Iron ore and to reduce its gangue content.These techniques are used in various combination s for the benefaction of iron ores. For benefaction of a particular iron ore the emphasis is usually to develop a cost effective flow she et incorporating necessary crushing, grinding, screening and benefiting techniques which are necessary for the upgrading of the iron or e. The crushing, grinding and screening systems of an BIB plant are to be designed t aging into acc ount the requirements of the downstream benefaction processes. The crushing units may include primary, secondary, t artery and quaternary crushing systems. Jaw, gyrator, cone, and roll crushers are used for ore crushing. Semi toughens grinding and AU toughens grinding circuits are used for grinding the ore.Both rod mills and ball mills are used for this purpose. Capital investment and proper action costs of grinding equipment are high. Hence economics play a large part in planning for the degree of crushing and grinding perform d to prepare ore for benefaction. Everyone dreams of one day becoming married and having a family, and most of the time this dream is fulfilled, that is, if they are straight. As each year passes by, there seems to be an increasing number of gay couples that aspire to become married. Even though gay marriage is becoming an extremely popular topic, people begin to realize that it does either one of two things (unless they are apathetic on the issue); gay marriage puts a strain on the outlook of society or it opens up many opportunities for the gay couples themselves. Bishops and other religious figures of the church feel that gay marriage is appalling, and should be abolished from society. The article mentioned in the National Catholic Reporter, â€Å"Bishops Warn of Dangers to Marriage,† it is revealed that bishops believe same-sex marriage is â€Å"one of the most troubling developments in contemporary culture. † (Roberts 2). According to text, the first command given to Adam and Eve was â€Å"be fertile and multiply† (National Catholic Reporter). The culture of America is perceived to be a family consisting of one mother, one father, and however many kids are desired; however, if same-sex marriage were to be allowed, it would diminish all natural aspects of our culture. Bishops of the Church believe that it is â€Å"in the offspring† where â€Å"married love finds its crowning glory† (Roberts 2). To reiterate into other words, the greatest achievement of marriage is found in the child created by that man and woman. Though one may not believe in Christ or anything to do with religion, the Church is against gay marriage because they believe that men and women were created to produce fertile offspring, a task impossible for gay couples. Most people against gay marriage agree that it can nit and should not be permitted because the female necessitates a dominant male figure to protect her. In the Weekly Standard, â€Å"The Worst Thing About Gay Marriage,† teaches us that â€Å"marriage is a part of a kinship system† and kinship depends on the â€Å"protection, organization, and often exploitation of female sexuality vis-i -vis male† (Schulman 3). Women and children have suffered and will continue to suffer from being over-protected and controlled, but the consequence of under-protection and indifference will be immeasurably worse (Schulman 4). It is understandable that over-protected women feel effected by the matter, but at least they are guaranteed someone to be there when in danger, while on the other hand, under-protected women are far more vulnerable. We realize that marriage is above all, â€Å"concerned with female sexuality† and that kinship depends on the protection of women from â€Å"rape, degradation, and concubinage† (Schulman 2). This is why marriage between and man and woman has been necessary in virtually every society ever known (Schulman 2). In other words, it is a priority to attain a male-female relationship in order to create the safest possible environment for the female. Same-sex marriage cannot offer the appropriate assurance for the female’s safety due to the lack of a male figure designed to protect. Often, marriage leads to the desire for kids, and adoption is the only way that desire can be fulfilled for homosexual couples, which can tremendously affect the child’s path in being raised as a normal kid. Psychological Reports, as mentioned in Paul Cameron and Ellen C. Perrin’s â€Å"Insight on the News,† tested 52 families and ninety-two percent of the children in those families â€Å"mentioned one or more ‘problems'† which included â€Å"hyper sexuality, instability, molestation, and domestic violence† (Cameron and Perrin 2). A great majority of kids growing up in a home with homosexual parents find it to do so because they are lacking either a mother or a father, who are both vital participants in childhood. On one Insight on the News interview, a nine year old girl growing up with gay parents reveals her feelings of discomfort at home and how â€Å"all of a sudden [she] felt like a different person because [her] mom was a lesbian† (Cameron and Perrin 2). Every marriage between a man and a woman is capable of giving any child that they create or adopt a mother and a father, which is the opposite for gay couples (Gallagher 109). Gay adoption can be a negative part of a child’s life because it is usually found to be hard on the child growing up, due to the fact that they lack either a mother or father figure. While a high number of individuals are against gay marriage, there are also the ones who believe everyone should be granted equal rights. America has always been set on the idea of equality for all because â€Å"our fathers brought forth this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all mean are created equal† (Lincoln). Sadly this nation has taken a long time to live up to that promise of equality (Olson 2). Society encourages marriage because of the commitment not only to each other but also to their families which creates a union between the two; however, society doesn’t seem to accept this same idea for homosexuals. If same-sex marriage were to be legalized, it would be†recognition of basic American principles† as it would â€Å"represent our nation’s commitment to equal rights† (Olson 2). Historical figures from America’s history to now have always promised equal rights for everyone, yet hays seem to continue to be discriminated against. The basis of America has always been freedom and equality for all, discarding all of homosexuals who are granted limited marriage rights. As mentioned earlier, marriage naturally leads to the aspiration for having children, and adoption is the only way for homosexual couples to do so, which in the end is a positive side of gay marriage because it opens up the doors for a child in need of a loving home. As stated in The First Post, there are never enough parents to adopt out all of the children in foster care homes, so â€Å"whether the family is gay or straight† it is usually â€Å"better than the foster-care system† (1). Gay adoption can open up many opportunities for the children trapped in the foster-care system because they will be showed the love and other vital aspects of childhood that would never be expressed in foster-care. A new twenty five year study, as mentioned in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, shows that children of gay parents showed higher ratings than their peers in â€Å"social, academic, and overall competence† and â€Å"lower in aggressive behavior† (Manford and Chrisler 1). Children of gay parents are overall better off than children with heterosexual divorced parents because they have two full-time parental figures that are always there for them (Manford and Chrisler 1). Children of gay parents demonstrate a more confident statue mainly because they are supported by two parents, whereas an increasing majority of children have divorced parents. A positive idea of gay marriage is gay adoption because it creates a positive outlook for kids who thought they would never have a chance in the foster-care system. Many people against gay marriage believe that it ruins the prosperity of heterosexual marriage, when in reality they just search for any possible reason to make gay marriage appear as an unspeakable issue. In his editorial found on About. com, Tom Head explains that in the countries that have legalized same-sex marriage, the rate of heterosexual marriage has either â€Å"gone up, remained stable, or declined consistent with other countries in the region that do not recognize same-sex marriage† (Head 1). In other words, gay marriage has absolutely no affect on heterosexual marriage as shown in the statistics of Tom Head’s editorial, because the rates of heterosexual marriages stay the same as they would if gay couples didn’t exist. Realism assumes that its key concept of interest defined as power is an objective category which is universally valid, but it does not endow that concept with a meaning that is fixed once and for all. In the post-9/11 period, assisting in the creation of a more stable, democratic, and prosperous Pakistan actively combating religious militancy has been among the most important U.S. foreign policy efforts. Vital U.S. interests are seen to be at stake in its engagement with Pakistan related to regional and global terrorism; efforts to stabilize neighboring Afghanistan; nuclear weapons proliferation; links between Pakistan and indigenous American terrorism; Pakistan-India tensions and conflict; democratization and human rights protection; and economic development. As a haven for numerous terrorist groups, and as the worlds most rapid proliferator of nuclear weapons, Pakistan presents a combination that places it at the top of many governments international security agendas.  [5]   India, the regions dominant actor with more than one billion citizens, is often characterized as a major power and partner of the United States and counterbalance for Chinas growing power. Washington and New Delhi have since 2004 been pursuing a strategic partnership based on shared values such as democracy, pluralism, and rule of law. Numerous economic, security, and global initiatives, including plans for full civilian nuclear energy cooperation is underway. This latter initiative, launched by President Bush in July 2005 and provisionally endorsed by the 109th Congress in 2006 (P.L. 109-401, the Hyde Act), would reverse three decades of U.S. nonproliferation policy. It requires, among other steps, a Joint Resolution of Approval by Congress. Also in 2005, the United States and India signed a ten-year defense framework agreement that calls for expanding bilateral security cooperation. Since 2002, the two countries have engaged in numerous combined military exercises. Major U.S. arms sales to India are planned.  [6]   Further U.S. interest in South Asia focuses on ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan rooted in unfinished business from the 1947 Partition, competing claims to the Kashmir region, and, in more recent years, cross-border terrorism in both Kashmir and major Indian cities. In the interests of regional stability, the United States strongly encourages an ongoing India-Pakistan peace initiative and remains concerned about the potential for conflict over Kashmir sovereignty to cause open hostilities between these two nuclear-armed countries. Both India and Pakistan have resisted external pressure to sign the major nonproliferation nuclear weapon treaties. In 1998, the two countries conducted nuclear tests that evoked international condemnation. Proliferation-related restrictions on U.S. aid were triggered, and then later lifted through congressional-executive cooperation from 1998 to 2000. Remaining sanctions on India and Pakistan were removed in late 2001.  [7]   THE UNITED STATES POLICIES TOWARD PAKISTAN Most of the United States policies in Pakistan emphasize a security-oriented approach that could risk derailing trends by eliciting even stronger anti-American nationalism among the Pakistani people.  [8]  The policies are as follows: Pressure counterterrorism on Pakistan. Unfortunately, when Egypt was about to become one of the most successful developing countries in industries, production, providing services, and even having special positions in the stock markets in comparison to another countries all around the world, suddenly, all this has turned upside down. Production has been stopped, services became poor in satisfaction, and Egypt became out of stock market ranking. The service that was highly affected by that revolution was the Tourism. Tourists who were in Egypt throughout the revolution, travelled back to their homelands as a result of fear of what was happening from serious political events in Egypt. This was also as a result of the bad Public Relations campaign that was made on Egypt at that time through the media and press. Second, the tourists probably play the major role; because they are the ones who decided whether to visit Egypt or not. The media may be helpful at this time; it can show foreigners a positive image for the Egyptian treatment to the tourists. Tourists need to see how the Egyptians are getting more respectful to them and how they are willing to welcome tourists in their country. Moreover, tourists should be shown the positive side which is the clean streets, the planted trees and so on. Third, the legal bodies should be encouraged to reform new policies and regulations that make the tourists feel safe when visiting Egypt. Saturday Morning Cartoons Saturday morning cartoons are on the verge of becoming extinct on the major networks. Year after year there are continually less and worse cartoons on Saturday mornings. It was painful and sad but I thought that they had hit rock bottom and they will only get better from here. However, it now seems that cartoons may very well slide out of existence. How did this happen? Where have all the cartoons gone? Is there any hope in the future or will we all lead a cold, miserable existence (ok it might not be that bad). First, it would probably help to start at the beginning of Saturday morning cartoons and give a history to find out how we got here. Saturday morning cartoons have been around since the 1950’s. Since many people who worked in radio knew that most kids programming does better on Saturday mornings than any other time. Like most television programming of this time most these cartoons seemed like radio programs with pictures and really didn’t utilize the medium. Nevertheless these cartoons were spearheading the way for future cartoons. This era gave birth to The Rocky and Bullwinkle and Popeye. The most popular cartoon, however, was Mighty Mouse Playhouse. The show had the ability to mix action with comedy, which seems to be the key to most good cartoons. In the sixties and seventies a lot things were changing in America and cartoons were no exception. These were the first â€Å"post-T.V.† cartoons and this era was referred to as the â€Å"golden-age† of Saturday morning cartoons. During this time some of the most influential and longest running cartoons debuted on Saturday morning. The one cartoon, however, that attracted the highest ratings was the Beatles cartoon. Fortunately, after its initial season the ratings dropped off dramatically and the show was canceled. Bugs Bunny first appeared on Saturday morning in 1960 and has continued to be shown on one station or another for the last 40 years. Scooby-Doo first started in 1969 and also continues to be shown today. The Jetsons, which originally started out in primetime, was very popular on Saturday mornings as well. This time period also gave birth to some the very first â€Å"action† cartoons on Saturday morning.
